The practical answer
Usually combined with scheduled rotation: the weekly set rotates, a monthly set stays long-term, and critical hardware is staged before June. We will map it against your existing RTO and RPO rather than inventing new ones.
Common questions
- Can we retrieve during a storm?
- Not while the facility is closed for a named storm — nobody should be on A1A in those conditions. This is why staging happens before the season.
- Do you help write the DR plan?
- No. We are the custody layer. Your DR provider or internal team owns the plan; we make sure the media survives it.
- What about extended power loss?
- The vault structure is engineered for it. Climate control is the part that needs power, and the vault holds condition far longer than a server room.
