Pricing
Priced on what you actually hold
We do not publish a rate card, and here is the honest reason: the number depends on cartridge counts, rotation frequency, and route density. A published price would be wrong for almost everyone.
Bring your retention schedule. We will tell you what it actually costs to meet it.
How it is priced
| Line | Basis | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| LTO cartridges | Per cartridge, per month | Volume tiers. Legacy generations cost the same as current. |
| Hard drives and SSDs | Per drive, per month | Anti-static packaging supplied if you need it. |
| Records boxes | Per box, per month | Box-level or file-level indexing; file level costs more at intake. |
| Server and rack equipment | Per footprint | Quoted on dimensions and weight, not per unit. |
| Scheduled courier rotation | Per run | Daily, weekly or monthly. Route density affects the rate. |
| Emergency retrieval | Per call-out | 24/7 for contracted clients, outside the scheduled rotation. |
| Witnessed destruction | Per batch | Serialised certificate included. You may attend. |

Two questions worth asking any vendor
What is the building rated for? Most media sits in conventional warehouse construction. Ours is a 9R vault rated through Category 5. In South Florida that difference is the whole point.
What does it cost to take the media back? Permanent-withdrawal fees are a well-known industry complaint. Ours is nothing beyond collection. Ask everyone this question before you sign.
Common questions
- Why is there no price list?
- Because a real quote depends on cartridge counts, rotation frequency, indexing depth, and where you are. A list price would be wrong for almost everyone, and we would rather not start with a number we have to walk back.
- Is there a minimum?
- Yes, a monthly minimum. It is low enough that a small practice with one rotation is viable.
- What drives the cost most?
- Rotation frequency, then item count. Daily rotation costs meaningfully more than weekly, and for many clients weekly is enough.
- What does it cost to leave?
- Nothing beyond collecting your media. We do not charge permanent-withdrawal fees, which is a common complaint about the national vendors.
- Are contracts long-term?
- Annual, negotiated directly with the facility holding your media.
